C- -Carrot , & Cabbge !
Today, kids get an impulse to their own dinner.
In order for children to deepen understanding of the letters, we have found in the fridge they know vegetables - carrot and cabbage.
Today's menu are the ABC soup and fried cabbage!
There are a children's favorite too- Egg!
Children try to cook for themselves. Vegetables and vegetable. . .
Of course, know the name of a vegetable!
nutritious dish preparing by Yen Hui and Kuan SEng ^^

Letter Of The Week Bb !
Buzzzzzzy Bee by Yen Hui!
As your child shows interest in letters it's a great time to find activities that help foster that interest, and as you may expect my suggestions do not include flash cards!
1. Gather your materials. You will need some white or yellow construction paper, some black paper, a pipe cleaner, some yellow paint , scissors and glue.
2.Draw a large B on your yellow or white construction paper. Cut the outline out but do not cut the insides of the B out, unless you are doing this with an older child, it makes the B very fragile and will probably end up ripped.
3.Have your child paint the B, I am using glitter paint because it's my favorite but you can use whatever you like, or skip this step all together.
4.While your child is painting using the black paper cut out some wings
( the stripes was cutting by herself! *wink*)
5. Have your child glue the stripes on the B.
6. Glue the wings on the underside of the B.
7.Thread the pipe cleaner half way through the B, I made sure I did this at a spot where there was a black stripe to give it extra strength, bend the pipe cleaner into antennae.
8.Let dry and cut out the insides of the B. If you want you can also glue the B onto a full size piece of construction paper for added stability.

Fishing today!
We've had a fun fishing by using fish tracing card .
The 'toys' were created by mummy.
We learned Alphabet,Mathematics and color too...
Hope you can try this at home with your kids ! ^^
These are great learning experience through "play" !
Gather your materials and enjoy it today!:
1.Gather your materials. You will need multiple colors of card stock or sturdy construction paper, a marker, scissors, eyelets and an eyelet setter ,or you can also use paper clips!
2.Draw a fish to make a template. Make sure the tail is large enough to write a letter on it. Cut it out and use this to trace all the fish.
3.Start tracing the fish on your card stock/construction paper. I normally trace one for every two fish.
4.Get comfy on your couch, and cut! Layer two or three pieces of paper to make it go faster but be careful , the paper can shift.
5.Add a letter on the tail and a smile too. If you are using paper clips add an eye too!
6.If you are using the eyelet option, add the eyelet as the eye for each fish. The eyelet should be magnetic, double check though since some are so heavily coated with paint the fishing pole may not pick them up!

Letter Lacing Card ,I try it now! ^^
Once again shopping online has forced me to try and see if I could make it myself. I don't need 5 bug lacing cards, I already have too many toys in my family room! So here is how I made one. I used my son's initial, but there is no reason not to make a rocket ship, butterfly or a simple square! ( a great ideal from my favorite blogs that always inspire me ,http: //www.notimeforflashcards.com )
1. Gather your materials. You will need some cardboard ( I am using a cereal box) , some card stock, permanent double stick tape, scissors, a hole punch, eyelets and an eyelet setter. Oh and a fun shoe lace. I let my son pick this out at the store, it's thick so it's won't fall our of the holes easily.
2.Cut your cardboard to a size the will be easy for your child to handle, the older the child the bigger it can be.
3. Cover it with a large piece of cardstock ,(i used laminate) the same way you would wrap a present. This way there are no sharp edges they can play with.
4. Draw and cut out your initial or shape in a contrasting color and using the permanent double stick tape tape it on.
5.Punch some hole around the shape. I messed mine up but ultimately even if they aren't spaced perfectly it's ok, they will still lace just as well.
6.Add your eyelets.
7.Start lacing.
